ROPES+CARABINERS

The aim of this project was to explore the art direction and modeling techniques of a rope and a carabiner. I simulated a dynamic rope in Cinema 4D using rope dynamics, and adding realism details with a Hair System. The carabiner, which was entirely modeled in Fusion360 based on a real-life example, represents the strength and reliability required to keep these connections secure. Together, these elements resulted in a visually striking representation of the importance of maintaining strong and meaningful human connections.
